School Store, Costume Ball, and the SNIS Fun Run!
Tomorrow is our first School Store of the year! Save the Date for the Costume Ball and SNIS Fun Run this October!

School Store - TOMORROW! (9/29/23)
Our SNIS School Store volunteers are excited to see students during their lunchwaves tomorrow! We have lots of new merchandise to set kids up for success - from pens and highlighters to locker decorations - there’s something for everyone!
If your student would like to make a purchase please send cash (no lunch credit can be used). Prices range from 25 cents to $3 with most items around $1.

2023 Costume Ball on October 20
The SNIS PTO is excited to host their Boo-Bash Costume Ball on Friday, October 20th, from 6-8pm. We shifted the start time to 6:00 to make it easier for families to attend.
Kids (and families) are invited to come and show off their Halloween costumes, while dancing in the gym! The big games will be out and there will also be refreshments for purchase.
We are looking for donations and volunteers for the event. Please look over the list, and if you are able, sign up for a donation item or volunteer slot at: https://tinyurl.com/2023boo-bash
We appreciate your help to make this event a success!
Donation Items:
Bags of Peanut-Free Candy
Glow Bracelets
Non-food Items (spider rings, glow rings, etc)
Items from our SNIS Costume Ball Amazon Wish List click here.
These items will need to be dropped off to the SNIS Main Office by 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 12 so we can assemble goody bags and make sure that we have enough items for the event.
Volunteer to Lend a Hand:
Setting Up on Friday afternoon
Helping at the event (Concessions, Goody Bags, Entrance Table)
Cleaning Up
Bake for the Costume Ball Bake Sale!
Have too many kids to wrangle at the event to volunteer? Love the way your house smells when your oven is making magic happen?
We welcome your home-baked goodies for our first ever Costume-Ball-Bake-Sale! Spooky, gooey, anything goes!
Please drop off your baked goods on Friday, October 20 to the SNIS Main Office.
Many hands make light work - we would like our volunteers to be able to spend some of the event enjoying it with their families!
If you are able, please sign up to volunteer at: https://tinyurl.com/2023boo-bash. If you have any questions, please reach out to sarahnoble.pto@gmail.com.

You can catch SNIS on Instagram!
Did you know that SNIS has a growing Instagram presence this year? Enjoy these posts we found when searching up SNIS on Instagram this past week. Be sure to give the SNIS accounts a follow - there are some amazing things happening inside (and outside) classrooms!
The video shared by NMPS Superintendent Janet Parlato is a fun watch with your kids. (It looks like a red block above) There are lots of familiar faces, and it was collaboratively created by Ms. Sylvester and Mrs. Bonnell, K-5 STEM Teacher.
