Bring the whole family to enjoy Family Fun Fest at SNIS on Friday, September 8th!

We’re excited to host our Fun Fest for families this Friday, September 8 from 5-7pm. You’ll find the excitement on the fields behind Sarah Noble - the kids will know the way to where the fun will take place!
The cost for the event is $5 per child ($20 maximum per family) - adults are free.
If you are able, we welcome you to volunteer to help make this event a success. The more volunteers we have the shorter the entrance lines will be! Please sign up at: https://tinyurl.com/2023funfest
We have activities for everyone - food trucks, bounce house, face painting, sports fun, a DJ playing music, a photobooth, and a henna artist!
You might want to bring a picnic blanket or chairs to sit and enjoy your dinner with your SNIS community. Feel free to pack a picnic dinner if food trucks aren’t for you!

Opportunities to Volunteer
We will have lots of opportunities for you to volunteer throughout the school year - here are a few we are recruiting for currently:
Interested in being a volunteer?
The NM Board of Education recognizes that volunteers can make many valuable contributions to our schools. The Board endorses a volunteer program that encourages community residents to take an active tole to become school volunteers subject to suitable regulations and safeguards.
New Milford Public Schools recognizes that just about any volunteer situation may result in direct contact with students. Our obligation to take appropriate measures to keep our children safe is one of our primary concerns. We will be requiring criminal history checks, at no cost to you, of all adults who wish to act as volunteers in our schools or chaperones on our field trips.
New Milford Public Schools has streamlined the process to become a volunteer in our schools. There will be lots of opportunities to volunteer this year - so initiate the process now so you can be ready when an opportunity comes your way!
If you were a volunteer in prior years NMPS is requesting that you complete the first phase of the volunteer registration process as well (Request to Volunteer Contact Form).
You can click on the Google Request to Volunteer Contact Form below:
