Our BIGGEST Fundraiser of the YEAR is Kicking Off RIGHT NOW!
For the very first time, ALL of the New Milford Elementary Schools (Hill & Plain, Northville, and Sarah Noble) will be participating in a town-wide Fun Run event! We are looking forward to new traditions and the opportunities this will bring for our community!
At Sarah Noble, our goal this year is to raise $15,000. Have students at another elementary school in the district? Great! You can fundraise together as a family all in one place this year.
Fundraising has already begun, and Boosterthon will have their staff at SNIS beginning October 17 distributing prizes and having a blast with the kids at lunchwaves and recess. The big SNIS Fun Run will take place on Friday, October 27.
We’re excited for this fundraising experience because it offers 3 important things to our school community: a user-friendly fundraising platform, a character enrichment program and a fitness focused event that includes ALL of our students, regardless of your family’s financial participation.
As a family, you can work together asking friends and family to donate to your student(s) for every minute that they exercise at our SNIS Fun Run on October 27th. ALL students will complete 35 minutes of exercise during the “Fun Run.” The best part is, you can still support our school just by SHARING your family pledge link on social media, via text and email!
Along the way, students will also experience an amazing character enrichment program called World Changer Workshop, teaching students the 5 steps to making a difference in the world around them! Students will learn about finding a need, rallying a team, writing a plan, launching their plan and gritting it out.

PTO Meeting this Friday, October 13 @ 9:15am
We welcome you to join us at the SNIS PTO Meeting this Friday at 9:15am. We’ll be meeting in the SNIS Staff Lounge - just sign in at the office and they will gladly help you navigate to the staff lounge. EVERYONE (including your toddler!) is welcome - you do not need to be a member to attend.
PTO meetings are a great place to learn more about your student’s school and connect with other members of our SNIS community.
Boo-Bash Costume Ball Next Friday!
We hope you’re prepared for an epic night of FUN next Friday, October 20, 2023. Our Boo-Bash Costume Ball Co-Chairs, Linda Fields and Sue Swanson, have a night of fun planned for the whole family. The event runs from 6pm-8pm and costs $5/child - $20 max per family (adults free).
Come wearing your best costume for the costume contest!
Prepare to dance the night away with DJ Fedex’s music and party games in the Gym.
Looking for a quieter night? Hang out in the Cafeteria where we’ll have games set up along with a coloring station and LEGO table.
Hungry? We’ve got you covered! Bake Sale Goodies, Nachos, Hot Dogs, Chili Cheese Dogs, Chips, and Drinks available for purchase.

Spirit Wear Orders Delivered to School!
If you ordered Spirit Wear during the Back to School Spirit Wear Sale and requested that it be delivered to school and sent home with your student - those items went home with your student the first week of October. Many thanks to our SNIS Merchandise Chair, Carole Zeigler, who worked to make this all such a success.
If you missed out on ordering your Spirit Wear, don’t worry! We plan to have our Spirit Wear Shop open again for Holiday Gifting. Stay tuned for more info.
School Pictures Have Arrived!
This week your student’s school pictures from Lifetouch should come home in their backpack. Each student should receive two separate packets. One that contains their class photo and another that either contains a PROOF of their photo (with information about ordering) OR the photos that your family ordered in advance. These packets of photos might come home on separate days.
To order photos please visit mylifetouch.com and use the Portrait ID and Access Code information provided on your student’s proof to make your order.
If you would like to have a retake of your student’s photo SNIS Retake Day 2023 is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14, 2023. If you ordered a package of photos and would like a retake, please send your packet of photos into school with your student the day of retakes to ensure that you receive the same “photo package” with the new image.
