Where did January go?
It's hard to believe that the first month of 2024 is nearly behind us!
Your SNIS PTO End of January Update!
It’s been a great start to 2024 for our SNIS Community! Our SNIS PTO has approved multiple grants that will reach each and every student of our Sarah Noble Community in the upcoming months. From author visits to field trips - your SNIS PTO dollars are helping to make experiences possible for all of our students - and we can’t thank you enough for your support.
MCM Butter Braid & Cake Roll Fundraiser

Flyers went home at the end of last week sharing information about our Spring Fundraiser with MCM Fundraising. This fundraiser features Butter Braids and Cake Rolls - each of which seem to have quite a following of folks who adore them! They are perfect for Spring Entertaining and easy to stash in your freezer for a special treat.
Curious to know what this fundraiser will fund? We have these funds earmarked for the Spring 2024 SNIS Eli Whitney STEM Grant. Last year we were able to fund individual Mechanical Hand kits and experiences for each and every student at SNIS, and we are excited to work with the SNIS team on what we can offer this spring!
This fundraiser can be done on paper (with the form you received - extras are available in the SNIS Main Office) or online at http://tinyurl.com/2024butterbraid
Paper orders must be turned in to the main office by Friday, February 9, 2024.
Any items ordered will need to be picked up the evening of March 7 at SNIS. If you are unable to pickup you will need to arrange someone else to pick up your items - all items not picked up will be donated.
Math Night at SNIS
The Math Team has been hard at work planning a special evening for our SNIS Community TOMORROW, January 31 from 5:30-7:00pm. Please join them for some family fun - they invite you to bring the whole family! We’ve heard that there are some really amazing activities - and with Math Coach - Cortni Muir and STEM Teacher - Cynthia Bonnell at the helm, we are all in for a treat!

Don’t forget - Early Dismissal on Thursday!
Sarah Noble Intermediate School will dismiss early at 1:00 this Thursday, February 1 for a Professional Development Day for staff.

This Friday is a SPIRIT DAY and SCHOOL STORE!
Be sure to have your student keep their Favorite Sports Team in mind as they pick their outfit this Friday for our Townwide PTO Spirit Day. It’s also School Store for SNIS Students during their lunchwave (cash only - most items around $1).
We can always use volunteers at School Store! Just visit our SignUpGenius to learn more and sign up!

Next PTO Meeting February 9 at 9:15am

Please joins us if you are able! The SNIS PTO will be meeting next Friday, February 9 at 9:15 in the SNIS Staff Lounge. ALL ARE WELCOME - Including kids!

You won’t want to miss this important workshop presented by Scott Driscoll of Internet Safety Concepts! Let’s learn ways to make the best choices possible in this world full of apps, programs and constantly changing online trends. Join us at the Maxx on February 13th from 6-7:30 here in New Milford.
