SNIS Scholastic Book Fair THIS WEEK!

The students (and staff) are looking forward to shopping the Book Fair this week! Students will have the opportunity to shop the Book Fair with their class either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday - you likely received an email from your teacher already, or you can check the schedule in this email.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

There are many opportunities to volunteer at SNIS this week for the Book Fair and School Store - and next week at the SNIS Veteran’s Day Assembly. We know that our SNIS students adore these activities, and without volunteers we will not be able to host them.

Each volunteer will earn a $5 coupon to use at the Book Fair.

Book Fair Class Schedule

You have likely already received an email from your teacher sharing the date your student will be visiting the Book Fair. We are still waiting on some class Book Fair dates - but wanted to share all that we know. Don’t forget to send cash or set up an eWallet with Scholastic to help your student purchase a book.

If your student misses their Book Fair day - never fear! We will be open during Parent Teacher Conferences (November 2 from 3:30-5:30 and November 7 from 12:30-7:30) OR you can make your purchase online at: https://tinyurl.com/snisbookfair2023 - your purchases will support adding more books to SNIS’ library and classrooms.

Without volunteers to fill the shifts of book fair these scheduled operating times will not be possible - we will try our hardest to make it happen for our community - but truly need your help.

Boosterthon - WE ARE CRUSHING IT!

Wow! You guys!!! Our SNIS Community is CRUSHING IT with our Boosterthon Fundraiser! As of Friday morning - when our Fun Run kicked off - we have raised $21,934 (and counting!) It’s not too late for you to register your student or accept donations - Boosterthon is keeping our online portal open until November 3 for donations!

Our SNIS students (and staff) ran their hearts out on Friday in three waves (by grade level). Each class crafted their own flag featuring their team name - and the kids proudly ran the track with the flags flying in the wind. There were plenty of water breaks, high fives, and friends helping each other tie their shoes!

We cannot thank our families, staff, and SNIS Community members enough for your support of our largest fundraiser of the year.
